A painting by singer Britney Spears is auctioned off for $10,000 during the Vegas Cares benefit at The Venetian in Las Vegas on November 5, 2017. An event in support of the first responders and victims of the massacre of the 1st of October, during the Route 91 Festival, which has 59 people dead and 500 injured.

Fundraising for the facility began three years ago, and Britney is excited that it's finally opened. All the proceeds from the winning bid will go toward the Vegas Cares Memorial Fund.

"I'm so proud to call Vegas my second home and I'm pleased to participate in this Vegas Cares show", Spears, 35, said in a video message during Monday's auction. Paired alongside classical music, Spears shared a video of herself-again, in itty-bitty shorts, a sports bra, and a tunic-like thing with sneakers-creating the piece, accompanied by the caption, "sometimes you just gotta play!"

Just a day after the NCCF Britney Spears Campus grand opening, the "Stronger" singer donated a flower painting she had made. Keeping the victims of last night's tragedy in Las Vegas in my prayers'.

The legendary pop princess has revealed a talent in the world of visual arts, taking up painting while living in Las Vegas for her residency at Planet Hollywood.
