According to Ian Rapoport of, the NFL is reviewing Wilson's concussion test to make sure there wasn't a league violation made during the incident.

Richard Sherman, a vocal critic, due to safety concerns, of the NFL's playing games on Thursday nights, was lost for the season last night when he suffered a ruptured Achilles during the Seattle Seahawks' 22-16 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Russell Wilson went into the medical tent to be checked for a concussion after taking a hard hit to the chin. This raised some eyebrows considering Wilson was sent off the field by referee Walt Anderson specifically so the medical staff could clear him.

Multiple reports suggested Wilson sat out just seconds before returning to the field one play later.

"I was just trying to feel my jaw", he said.

The NFL is now investigating that matter and if they determine that the protocol was skirted, the Seahawks would be subject to discipline from the league. He went into the medical tent to be evaluated for a concussion, but didn't stay in there long enough for the door to even close.

After sitting out for one play, Wilson returned to the field for two more plays before the Seahawks were forced to punt.

He added: "I think Walt did a great job, first of all".

After the game, Wilson tried to explain that he wasn't concussed. We went through every question you can imagine.
