Kelley arrested on suspicion of DWI

Early Sunday morning, Arkansas QB Cole Kelley was arrested for suspected DWI.

According to online court records, he was booked at 8:47 a.m. CT at the Washington County jail and has a hearing scheduled for Monday.

The officer reports making contact with Kelley and says his eyes were red and watery.

Head Coach Bret Bielema released a statement saying, "I was informed early this morning of an incident involving Coley Kelley".

Per the police report, Kelley refused to take a breathalyzer test after he was pulled over.

A redshirt freshman, Kelley had started Arkansas' previous four games before resuming his spot as the backup to Austin Allen in Saturday's 33-10 loss to LSU. He played in Arkansas' final two series of the game and completed 3 of 10 passes for 36 yards with one interception.

Kelley had logged considerable playing time for the Razorbacks after an injury to Austin Allen in the University of SC game.
