There is no Alderney or Woodside ferry service Christmas Day.

City offices will be closed December 25-26 for Christmas and January 1 for New Year's Day. The New Year's Day pick-up will take place on January 2.

Blue collection boxes are not serviced on Sundays and that will be the case on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve this year.

The skating court at Lansdowne will be open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, weather permitting. Tulsa Parks community centers will be closed Friday through Christmas Day.

Library opening times vary.

There will be no mail delivery on Christmas or Boxing Day and post offices will be closed. Users are advised to contact their local centre or One Point hub to check whether it is open.

The city's mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be closed Friday through Christmas Day. Most recreation facilities are closed and classes are cancelled on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. To make an appointment, call 03000 266 000. County libraries will be closed from December 22-25 and on January 1.

City-operated Child Care Services will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Collection will take place Saturday, Dec. 23 instead.

There will be no curbside or multi-residential green bin recycling, garbage or bulky item collection on Christmas Day.

Starting Friday, many of Detroit's service operations will be closed through the new year with normal police, fire and bus services provided.

The council will again be offering a collection service for real Christmas trees.

On Sunday, Dec. 24 DARTS, will operate on a Sunday/holiday service (6:30 a.m.to 12:30 a.m.). You can also check the Leitrim County Council website here for a wide range of information.
