Harvey Weinstein was attacked Tuesday night at a restaurant... TMZ has learned

The video does show Steve landing two slaps. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Paradise Valley police know about the incident, but Weinstein has not filed a report.

Weinstein was at the restaurant eating dinner with his sober coach when two men sitting at the table next to him got into an altercation with the Miramax founder. Then, as the video shows, Steve, wearing a vest-jacket and short-sleeve shirt, began ranting at Weinstein, "You're a piece of shit!"

His assailant can be seen laughing while he hits Weinstein, who wore a black beanie hat and soiled grey shirt for his night out at the restaurant. However, the entire incident was captured on video that TMZ obtained.

However, the restaurant's manager paints a very different picture. Steve admits that after having "quite a bit to drink", he told his friend to take out his cell phone and film an encounter with Harvey.

Dozens of women, including actresses Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment, while several others have accused the Oscar victor of raping them. Steve says Weinstein became belligerent and told him to buzz off.

Weinstein has been coming to Arizona since a New York Times story exposed him as a serial sexual predator. The resort itself released a statement to ABC News that read, "Our guests' privacy is paramount at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa".

More than 80 women have come out against Weinstein, who formerly helmed Miramax and the Weinstein Company (which he co-founded with his brother, Bob).
