Trump's name-calling of Schiff is a sign that the president is nervous about aspects of the Democratic memo exposing flaws in the Republican document released last week.

Schiff (D-Calif.) suggested to anchor Jim Sciutto that Gen. John Kelly give Trump the childhood reprimand after the president tweeted that Schiff "must be stopped" from allegedly leaking information from sensitive committee hearings. "I hope he finishes it as quickly as possible", said Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah. Now at least three Republicans say they will vote in support of publicly releasing the Democratic document at the Monday meeting, enough to send the matter to the White House.

President Trump has the final say on whether that Democratic memo becomes public, and his team promises it will receive the same consideration as the GOP memo. White House spokesman Raj Shah said today that if the Democratic memo - well, when the Democratic memo is sent, the administration will consider it in the same way that it did as the Republican one.

The underlying materials that served as the basis for the warrant application were not made public in the GOP memo. As Schiff noted, it's been the practice of Republicans and Democrats in the past to discuss when witnesses refuse to answer certain questions. His office rebuts that claim, saying the real abuse of power was using unverified information bought and paid for by one political campaign to justify government surveillance of former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page. But that did not satisfy Democrats, as Schiff said it was a "lawyerly" response that does not address whether the White House coordinated in other ways surrounding the creation of the memo. His attacks reveal his uneasiness over a Democratic memo's release.

Democrats have cautioned US President Donald Trump that firing top law enforcement officials over the investigation into his campaign's links to Russian Federation could spark a risky "confrontation", as Republican lawmakers broke ranks to say the probe should go on unhindered.

"The premise of the Nunes memo is that the Federal Bureau of Investigation and DOJ corruptly sought a FISA warrant on a former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, Carter Page, and deliberately misled the court as part of a systematic abuse of the FISA process", Schiff said last week.

The spat came hours before the Intelligence Committee was set to vote on releasing the Democratic memo. They say that this is about Mueller, but they say that it's an attempt to undermine Mueller's investigation.

The poll findings appear to reflect the influence that Trump wields among Republicans, who have long reserved some of their highest levels of trust for the country's law enforcement agencies.

The confirmation about Papadopoulos is "the most important fact disclosed in this otherwise shoddy memo", Schiff said Saturday. "Must be stopped!" Trump wrote.

There is "no consideration about any personnel moves at the Department of Justice", he said aboard Air Force One.

Trump also praised Nunes in a separate tweet Monday, calling him "a man of tremendous courage and grit, may someday be recognized as a Great American Hero for what he has exposed and what he has had to endure!"

The ongoing investigation into Trump's ties to Russian Federation and possible obstruction of justice needs to continue unimpeded, and it's members of Congress like Adam Schiff who will ensure that's exactly what happens - despite the president's desperate and childish attacks. Both the FBI and the Department of Justice warned against releasing the memo before both agencies vetted it to make sure it didn't contain information that could damage their investigation.
