Disney World and Disneyland Are Raising Prices Once Again

Disney raises ticket, annual pass prices at Disneyland and Walt Disney World

But it hasn't gone to the point of pricing Disneyland higher than California Adventure on a one-day ticket, the way that it does with the Magic Kingdom versus the other three Walt Disney World parks in Florida. New admission prices to the theme park - a popular destination during Mardi Gras for many in the New Orleans area - are effective Sunday (Feb. 11). For "regular" time, tickets will increase $4, making the cost $119 for adults and $113 for children, and the "peak" price will be $129 for adults and $123 for kids. "Value" days for Magic Kingdom will cost $109 for adults and $103 for children.

The park does have new rides and attractions opening soon, the newspaper reports. And this is just the warm-up for some fundamental changes to Disney's ticketing programs yet to come later this year. "Regular" tickets will be $114 for adults and $108 for children.

Disney also raised prices for annual passes. The value ticket will still cost $97.

A one-day adult ticket for Disneyland or California Adventure is $99 for the low-demand days, such as weekdays in May.

Non-Florida Residents will pay $949 for Platinum Pass Plus and $849 for Platinum Pass. Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Universal Orlando Resort and more - they can do it all, and at no extra cost to you! But later this year, the Walt Disney World Resort will begin adjusting prices for multi-tickets based on expected crowd levels, as well.

We have been telling you for a couple of weeks now - if it's February, it must be time for Disney's annual ticket price increases. The program is created to entice guests to visit the parks in the United States during less busy times of the year. Theoretically, this program would prevent the parks from becoming overcrowded during the busiest seasons.
