Real Madrid enjoyed a comfortable outing against Real Sociedad during Saturday's La Liga action, as Cristiano Ronaldo scored three times in a 5-2 win for Los Blancos.

The reigning champions took the lead after 10 minutes when goalkeeper Ludovic Butelle diverted into his own goal, before the Montenegro striker grabbed his first with a well-timed finish on the half-hour mark.

PSG lined up without Edinson Cavani, rested with a slight hip problem, but could have taken the lead on five minutes when Lafont saved with his chest from Presnel Kimpembe from pointblank range.

Zinedine zidane made a few changes to his starting XI against Sociedad.

Neymar scored the only goal of the game midway through the second half.

Ronaldo fired in a low cross from Marcelo, after Marco Asensio duped two defenders with a deft spin to play Marcelo clear down the left side.

Ronaldo was denied another by the woodwork in the 33rd minute, but straight after the post kept out his volley, Toni Kroos fired a perfectly-placed shot into the top corner from just outside the box to all but seal the win.

They eased off in the second period, although Ronaldo was able to complete his treble, in between goals for the visitors from substitute Jon Bautista and former Real midfielder Asier Illarramendi.

While Ronaldo was bagging his 43rd hat-trick for the La Liga giants, the Frenchman was yet again a target for the boo-boys after missing a glut of chances.

Most noticeably, Gareth Bale was left on the bench.

Madrid moved into third place, two points above Valencia, which plays Levante on Sunday.

A second-half goal from Neymar saw PSG to a 1-0 victory on Saturday, extending their winning streak to six games in all competitions. Griezmann held up a shirt with the last name of Barbera preceded by "Cholo", the nickname for Atletico coach Diego Simeone.

"I don't have split loyalties, I hope it is a great game and the best team wins".

But Tavares got his second from the penalty spot to equalise for Olivier Dall'Oglio's side before Kwon Chang-Hoon scored the victor six minutes from time to earn back-to-back wins for just the second time this season.
