A pair of impersonators dressed as United States President Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong-un were "shown out by security staff" after arriving at PyeongChang Olympic Stadium, according to a Reuters report.

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is sending two competitors: his head of state, Kim Yong Nam and, more significantly, his sister, Kim Yo Jong, the first vice director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party.

According to journalists in Pyeongchang for the ceremony, it's unclear what the two impersonators were doing, but they apparently made a scene.

Kim Yong-nam responded to the prime minister's remarks by saying, "I am sure that the two Koreas' relations will improve going forward, and the date of reunification will be advanced", the premier's office said, citing the North Korean official.

The number of mentions of "Pyongyang2018" spiked during yesterday's opening ceremony, when hosts South Korea and the North - two countries technically still at war - marched together behind the Korean unification flag.

Moon said he would accept the summit meeting under the right conditions, suggesting Pyongyang should do more to open direct US-North Korea talks on denuclearisation.

This came as U.S. State Department spokesman Michael Cavey on Sunday said Washington supports South Korea's efforts to procure dialogue between the U.S. and the North.

"Her being here is not that bad, but I feel North Korea has shown up to the Olympics without paying", Yoon told CNN during Saturday's hockey match between Switzerland and the unified Korean team. This window of opportunity was born out of a new understanding reached between the White House and the president of South Korea.

It was the US that appeared to be the one left in the cold, especially after the sister of the North Korean dictator extended an invitation from her brother for Moon to visit the North.

However, few officials have said this in quite the colorful language that Trump has used. South Korea wants a northern neighbor without nukes; North Korea vows to keep its weapons until the United States discards its "hostile" policies against the country.

South Korea earlier this year said the agreement failed to meet victims' needs and called for more steps, but Japan insists the agreement should not be changed. Mr. Moon asked the delegation, before reporters were ushered from the room. Wearing a black coat and with her hair pulled back, she presents a marked contrast to the ceremonial head of North Korea's government - the often expressionless Kim Yong Nam, 90. This prospect is made even more hard with the U.S.

Moon Jae-in must now walk a fine diplomatic line as he tries to encourage North Korea's new interest in dialogue without straying too far from the "maximum pressure" approach championed by the United States, South Korea's military ally.

With a smile, a handshake and a warm message in South Korea's presidential guest book, Kim Yo Jong has struck a chord with the public just one day into the PyeongChang Games.

Dozens of North Korean cheering group members dressed in red were at the Kwandong Hockey Center to root for the Korean team.

The young North Korean leader and his sister were favourites of their father, who ruled North Korea from 1994-2011. But Pence was also warning Seoul not to be fooled by refusing to attend a banquet at the Winter Olympics where he could have met with the high-level North Korean delegation.

Does this man not know that the Olympic Games are not supposed to be political?
