Fortnite Battle Pass season 3 details revealed by Epic Games

You can buy new emotes, outfits, gliders, banners, and other cosmetic items for the in-game currency of 150 V-Bucks each, or you can unlock them the old-fashioned way, through gameplay.

That's right, the newest Battle Pass will take players to the farthest reaches of the universe with space-themed cosmetics. There'll be seven new weekly challenges per week, and you need to complete at least four of them to unlock the rewards they provide.

"Even though we added 30 tiers, you'll still be able to complete the Season 3 Battle Pass in the same amount of time as the Season 2 Battle Pass (typically 75-150 hours)", Epic Games said.

Season three's Battle Pass will be space-themed, so it's rather fitting that Epic has chose to take their loot system to new heights by adding thirty new tiers to it. Sounds like we'll have to play a lot more to get the real goodies, doesn't it?

The Season 3 Battle Pass is no different in this regard, but it does come with more content than season two did. Epic also allows players to purchase new tiers, either for the in-game V-Bucks or real money.

And Fortnite players will have plenty of time to secure all the best season 3 skins and emotes.

Epic also offers the Battle Bundle, which in this case comes with the Battle Pass as well as 25 tiers already unlocked.

Instead of having daily challenges, you will instead have weekly challenges.

Here are some Fortnite tips and tricks to help you secure that Victory Royale. The season ends tomorrow, and shortly after it, season 3 will start, which will have even more rewards. So, it seems like Epic will give everyone who plays the game a few space-themed rewards, just not quite as much as the people willing to shell out some cash for the Battle Pass. As Epic Games indicates, the challenges stack and can be completed anytime during this season, so buying it beforehand isn't such a concern. And Epic Games has done a fantastic job of monetizing a free to play game with the Battle Pass system.
