Apple users may be able to revert to the older version of the Snapchat app via iTunes library

The new tabs should help separate out items for easier discovery and browsing, especially in the river of Discover content.

Snapchat has launched a new feature that allows you to add Giphy animated stickers to your snaps, similar to the one recently added to Instagram Stories just a few weeks ago.

Since the new and redesigned Snapchat rolled out to users worldwide, there's been backlash and complaints that the updated app is too hard to use.

GIF support isn't the only new thing heading to Snapchat soon, as a new Tabs feature is being added to the Friends and Discover pages within the app.

These changes should help adoption of the new Snapchat redesign, which some have complained is confusing.

GIFs in stories is indeed a very interesting feature and it would be interesting adding this to our snaps.

Snapchat chief Evan Spiegel defended the redesign at Goldman Sachs" Internet and Technology Conference last week, saying that "it will take time for people to adjust'.

Share Snapchat Stories with anyone: Users can now share Snapchat stories with anyone, regardless of whether they have the app. Press and hold on a sticker, then drag it to the trash, to remove it.

Snapchat followed in Instagram's footsteps by adding a GIF feature. These stickers draw from GIPHY's massive library of GIFs, allowing you to add a special type of flair to your photos and videos. The Stickers will move, rotate, and scale with whatever you pinned it to.

In January, Instagram added a GIF tool that was also powered by GIPHY. The company is bringing a feature to the app that is already seen in Instagram Stories.
