Legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi passed away late on Saturday night following cardiac arrest, India media reported.

This has come as a shocking news to everyone. The sudden demise of one of Bollywood's greatest actors sent shockwaves across the industry and left everyone saddened by the loss. "Her acting skills were remarkable", said one of the fans who was outside her residence.

Sridevi has known for her performance is some of the iconic films like "Mr India", "Nagina", "Sadma", "Chaalbaaz", "Chandni" among many others.

She is survived by husband Boney Kapoor and daughters, Khushi and Janhavi Kapoor.

Expressing shock over the news, Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, "Terrible awful news". "Really Shocked and disturbed to hear that Sridevi Ma'am is no more #RIP #Sridevi", wrote Siddhatrh.

Sridevi's most memorable onscreen pairing was with her real-life brother-in-law Anil Kapoor, while her most successful films were produced by husband Boney Kapoor. "I'm shocked and very disturbed".

The actress was last seen in movie Mom. "Condolences to her family and friends", tweeted Mohammad Kaif. "May her soul rest in peace", wrote the official handle of PMO India, quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Condolences to her family and loved ones. Rip Sridevi ma'am. You were the most attractive.

"CANNOT believe this. I have no words". Prayers and strength to the family.
