Ilir Latifi

Ilir "The Sledgehammer" Latifi (14-5) wanted to make a statement at UFC on FOX 28 in Orlando, Florida, and did he ever. Latifi's guillotine choke put Saint Preux at the 3:48 mark of the first round. Latifi, meanwhile, was looking to build off a recent win over Tyson Pedro.

Left hook for Latifi and OSP drops to the mat. He just missed a high kick a few moments later.

Latifi kicked Saint Preux's legs early, but a minute in Saint Preux tried to get inside for a short uppercut. The height and reach advantage for OSP was considerable; he used his reach to keep Latifi at a distance.

Saint Preux was the favorite in the eyes of many, but that's not how things went Saturday. A barrage of punches followed, then Latifi sunk in a guillotine choke.

Ilir Latifi took Ovince Saint Preux off his feet with his hands, then took him out of consciousness with a choke. Saint Preux, still dazed, was caught.

Latifi has won two consecutive fights, with the latest being arguably the biggest of his career.

After the bout, Latifi made a gesture signaling his desire to have a UFC title around his waist.

Following the destructive performance, the Swede turned to light heavyweight champion come pundit Daniel Cormier who was ringside, reporting.
