CSA officials face action over SBW masks

It comes after Warner and South African wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock were involved in a heated stoush toward the end of the First Test in Durban, with de Kock allegedly making a taunt about Warner's wife.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has distanced itself from the alleged action of certain officials in associating themselves with fans wearing masks representing the face of Sonny Bill Williams, which is related to the Warner-De Kock incident.

Security had reportedly stopped fans with masks outside the venue before CSA intervened and let them in.

The two officials were photographed with three spectators wearing the masks at the match at St George's Park in Port Elizabeth.

Candice had a tryst more than 10 years ago with Williams.

"They said "let's take a photo with you guys".

While sports fans often engage in questionable behavior at stadiums, officials Eksteen, a former South Africa player, and Kazi are accused of condoning the taunting of Warner and his wife by South African supporters.

"On behalf of CSA I extend my honest apologies to the Board of Cricket Australia, its officials, team management, players and their families", CSA President Chris Nenzani was quoted as sating by ESPNcricinfo.

Altaaf Kazi was one of the CSA executives pictured with the fans and attempted explained what happened stressing the photo didn't mean they entirely supported the masks.

CSA President Chris Nenzani also weighed in on the matter: "On behalf of CSA I extend my honest apologies to the Board of Cricket Australia (CA), its officials, team management, players and their families". Warner had delivered a stream of verbal abuse towards de Kock as the players walked off the field, but did not take well to de Kock's reply. Also, the CSA president Chris Nenzani apologised the Australians.

The tensions between South Africa and Australia during their four-Test series is set to continue after another embarrassing incident.
