This Is Why West Brom Should Keep Alan Pardew - Dion Dublin

West Bromwich Albion will be tough admits Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez

Kelechi who is now Nigeria's record goal scorer in the English Football Association Challenge Cup (FA Cup), had not yet found the back of the net in the Premier League since he moved from Manchester City.

It all started so well for the hosts as they broke the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes, with Oliver Burke's low cross into the box picking out Rondon, who turned the ball home from close range.

They are staring at relegation following a second-half no-show where Riyad Mahrez, Kelechi Iheanacho and Vicente Iborra scored after Jamie Vardy's stunning first-half volley.

The victory gives Leicester 40 points, in 8th place and three points behind 7th place Burnley and five behind 6t place Arsenal, as they retain Europa League ambitions next season.

Mahrez launched a ball over the top from deep in his own half and it dropped over Vardy's shoulder on the edge of the area.

The England striker thought he had another eight minutes before half-time but was correctly penalised for offside when he prodded home Chilwell's low cross, while a backpedalling Morgan deflected a shot from the marauding Rondon over at the other end.

The Swans had Jordan Ayew sent off in the 11th minute.

Iheanacho teed up Vardy for another chance, but this time Foster saved with his legs.

Iborra then got in on the act in stoppage time when he nodded in Marc Albrighton's corner.

There was a buzz about Albion and they were comfortable until the Foxes levelled after 21 minutes with a goal of brilliance and simplicity.

The Foxes memorably went on to win the title the following year but Pardew is simply focused on the first part of the equation.

- Vardy (15 goal involvements) and Mahrez (18 goal involvements) are the only players to have been involved in at least 14 goals this season and play for clubs outside the "big six".

Iheanacho did come on as a 60th-minute substitute for Shinji Okazaki, and made an impact in the game - bagging an assist and scoring a goal.
