Philips teased back in January that it would be launching outdoor Hue lights later in the year, and it has now provided details of the products - including pricing and availability. If not, you can choose between a couple of different outdoor starter packs, which come with the bridge that allows you to control all of your lighting through the Hue app. There's also the Hue Calla, which seems to function as lighting that's more general goal.

Like other Hue bulbs, you can set up lighting routines and schedules, control them remotely, and they support Apple's HomeKit platform. Philips Hue Calla Alternatively, the Philips Hue Calla is flawless for path lighting and can also be used to enhance your outdoor space.

Like their indoor counterparts, these Hue products are a tad on the pricey side but offer a range of features not available on traditional lighting products. Both models let you choose from 16 million colors.

While the current indoor range can be used outside with weatherproof lanterns, the new outdoor range is dedicated to surviving the elements while adding both ambience and security to your outdoor spaces. The spotlight Philips Hue Lily costs $270 and comes with three lights, while the Calla is $129 and is created to illuminate pathways - both have access to 16 million different colors.
