Planet Alpha is an Upcoming Sci-Fi Platformer From Former IO Dev

Promising fast platforming action, puzzles, and stealth mechanics, players will have to explore the world and uncover the ability to rotate and control the planet.

Players awake on a unusual alien world that is home to many mysterious, exotic flora and fauna. "Developing the game for over four years has been a roller coaster, so when we looked for a publisher we were very selective", explains creator Adrian Lazar.

You'll be making your way across an alien planet, escaping from "relentless enemies" as they chase you across the world. Is this world really as tranquil and serene as it first appears and what more will you discover?

Danish indie developer Adrian Lazar has been working on his atmospheric platformer Planet Alpha with a small team ever since 2015, garnering some notable attention over the years. Prior to his departure from IO, Lazar assisted on the development of Hitman (2017), Hitman: Absolution, and Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days.

This game is very pretty, and I can absolutely see why Team17 have signed Planet Alpha up to their games label. "I can not wait to share our creation with the world", says Adrian Lazar, via press release. It's coming out for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC some time in 2018. "An unexplored alien planet is the ideal canvas for this so we let our imagination flow".
