Actor-singer Aditya Narayan, son of famous singer Udit Narayan got arrested in connection with a road accident on Monday by Versova police in Mumbai for hitting an autorickshaw. The auto-rickshaw driver suffered serious head injuries and is now recuperating in an ICU, while the female passenger fractured her leg in the accident. The following investigation took place in the Versova Police station.

Based on the statement given by complainant Shivekar, the police have booked Aditya under Sections of IPC for rash driving (279), causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others (338) as well as under the provision of Motor Vehicle Act for risky driving. Aditya was released on bail after undergoing medical tests to check if he was under the influence of alcohol.

Aditya, reportedly took the injured to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for treatment. We wonder what the father will have to say in this rash driving incident.

Earlier, he made headlines just a while ago for yet another wrong reason when he was caught in a brawl with an airline staff.

Aditya's Mercedes Benz rammed into the auto-rickshaw from behind in front of the Indralok Building, Lokhandwala Back Road in Andheri West, the official said.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time that Aditya Narayan has landed in a controversy. In October a year ago, Narayan landed in trouble after he misbehaved with a staff member of the budget passenger carrier, IndiGo. While the driver of the rickshaw is admitted in the ICU, the passenger has fractured her leg, reports DNA. But he initially refused to pay the amount to the female check-in staff member and said that he will not pay more than Rs 10,000 for excess baggage. Indianexpress.com contacted Kiran Kale, Senior Inspector at Versova Police Station.

However, as soon this video went viral he apologized to ground staff and after that he got his boarding passes.
