UFO navy pilots video declassified

A newly-released video which shows U.S. Navy pilots encountering an unidentified flying object (UFO) in 2015 has garnered calls for more research into what these mysterious objects could be. "Look at that flying!" another exclaims. The date, location, and other information was removed by the Department of Defense prior to release.

To The Stars said it was a Department of Defense video, captured from an F/A-18 Super Hornet jet with a Raytheon-developed infrared system.

Video footage recorded in 2015 of US fighter pilots spotting the mysterious object while flying on the East Coast was released by the private research group TTSA last week.

"What the f-- is that thing?" one pilot can be heard saying in the video. In the audio, the pilots express awe at the speed of the object. The fighter jets however found nothing.

Chris Mellon, a TTSA advisor and former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence in the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations, slammed what he said was the lack of research into what could be behind these videos in an op-ed published Friday in the Washington Post.

Meanwhile, reports from different services and agencies remain largely ignored and unevaluated inside their respective bureaucratic stovepipes.

"There is no Pentagon process for synthesizing all the observations the military is making". A colleague of mine at To the Stars Academy, Luis Elizondo, used to run a Pentagon intelligence program that examined evidence of "anomalous" aircraft, but he resigned last fall to protest government inattention to the growing body of empirical data.

Mellon wrote, "We have no idea what's behind these weird incidents because we're not investigating".

One of the problems hampering development was the stigma associated with conducting research in this field, Mellon observed.

"Nobody wants to be "the alien guy" in the national security bureaucracy", Mr Mellon wrote. "This is true up and down the chain of command, and it is a serious and recurring impediment to progress".

"It is time to set aside taboos regarding "UFOs" and instead listen to our pilots and radar operators".

GO FAST is the latest in a series of declassified videos released by To The Stars Academy showing possible UFO sightings - the first being FL1R1, followed by GIMBAL.

He questions whether the clip could be "evidence of some alien civilisation" or proof that the United States was "technologically leap-frogged by Russian Federation or China".

TTSA has posted videos to give an in-depth analysis on each event that the DoD has released.
