Microsoft's new Xbox Live avatars will reportedly launch next month

YouTuber Rand al Thor posted an image of Ybarra's new and improved Avatar on Twitter. Today, Microsoft announced its plans for its "biggest E3 showing ever", and there are certainly some major changes coming.

Microsoft is planning to launch its new Xbox Live Avatars next month.

The new avatars will let you fully customize your online character with new body type options, clothing, and props. In order to prepare its fans for the address, the organization has now officially revealed the date and time for its Xbox E3 2018 Briefing as Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM PT / 4:00 PM ET / 9:00 PM UK.

Microsoft will have a very different presence at this year's E3.

The annual Xbox E3 Briefing will now take place at the Microsoft Theater at LA Live, which will act as a central hub for other Xbox events during the week.

In collaboration with the Entertainment Software Association, the organizers of E3, Xbox will be taking over the Microsoft Theater, across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) where the E3 conference takes place.

We're rapidly approaching E3 2018 and the freight train of announcements that'll follow.

Microsoft says that it will also have a "meaningful presence" at the LACC, including a booth dedicated exclusively to Mixer, its game streaming service.

With E3 2018 being just several months away, fans of Microsoft are undoubtedly gearing up for the American multinational technology company's forthcoming press conference at this year's event, with many hoping the firm offers a blockbuster showcase. All attendees with a valid E3 2018 badge will be able to enter the Microsoft Theatre to participate in FanFest and demo activities.
