Ronda Rousey brutalised Stephanie Mc Mahon on Raw last week

Remember a few weeks ago when WWE.com boldly announced that Ronda Rousey would be appearing on every episode of Monday Night Raw in the lead up to WrestleMania?

However, she may put the time away to good use as she hones her craft for her first ever match at WrestleMania.

Ronda Rousey was expected to appear on the March 12 edition of Monday Night RAW but didn't and it seems the reasoning isn't what people may expect. Indeed, a very unusual episode of Raw.

Charlotte Flair showed why she is the biggest star in SmackDown's Women's division beating Ruby Riott to the title on Sunday's Flashpoint.

She pointed at the WrestleMania 34 sign and indicated her intentions to wrestle at the event.

Also on Raw, Cena, having failed in his bid to become WWE Champion at Fastlane Sunday, said that he was going back to his original plan of challenging The Undertaker in order to have a match at WrestleMania.

Kurt Angle, who had his own issues with Triple H, said he'd partner with Rousey and make the match a Mixed Tag Team match.

Former UFC fighter and current WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey was a guest on The Ellen Show where she talked about her new career change.

The third hour featured Asuka versus James, Nia Jax turning her anger towards Alexa Bliss and the tag team battle royal that ended with Braun Strowman setting up a confrontation with Sheamus and Cesaro. WWE risked overexposing her as a special attraction before WrestleMania by having her on the show each week.

"One other thing, and that is this word of respect and so forth and the lack of it, let me just say that based on what just happened Roman Reigns has been temporarily suspended".
