Westbrook is barely halfway to Robertson's career record of 181 triple-doubles, but he's definitely got Johnson (138) and Kidd (107) in his sights.

With his triple-double performance, the Thunder star became the fourth player in National Basketball Association history to record 100 triple-doubles, joining an exclusive club that includes Oscar Robertson (181 triple-doubles), Magic Johnson (138) and Jason Kidd (107). "I'm just happy to be a part of the crew with those guys", Westbrook told reporters after the game, via ESPN.

"It's always insane, man, to go on the road and just see, not just fans cheering, but just see kids in my jersey, because I never, ever imagined me playing in the league. So, to see that every time is always fantastic for me, and I never take it for granted", added Westbrook.

Oklahoma City struggled in Atlanta on the second night of a back-to-back.

He was also able to become the fourth player to reach the 100 mark in career triple-doubles. Brodie finished with 32 points on 12 of 20 shooting with 12 rebounds and 12 assists. "We're going to closely monitor it, be cautious", Thunder coach Billy Donovan said".

"I try to read and react and see what teams are doing defensively, and obviously find the ways to make the game easy for my teammates", Westbrook said. "One pro to the remaining schedule, however, is the fact that the Thunder, by virtue of having played a league-leading 70 games through March 14, will enjoy a schedule that's a bit more spread out than many of their competitors". He doesn't have to take a shot to impact the game, and that speaks to his greatness.

1,264: Westbrook has dished out 1,264 assists during his 100 triple-doubles, for an average of 12.6 assists, which is four-and-a-half more than his career average of 8.1 assists per game. "It's really a heck of a milestone and an incredible accomplishment".

And so it continued, snowballing like a Westbrook break: Westbrook free throws, another dish to Grant, more free throws and finally, a 3-pointer from Carmelo Anthony, Anthony's sixth of the night and the only bucket during the run Westbrook didn't create. They are fourth in the Western Conference standings, two wins ahead of the fifth-placed New Orleans Pelicans.
