Heavy rain possible through Thursday

In case you missed it, today's normal high is 60.

For the weekend, Saturday appears to be dry. Temperatures look to also trend cooler over the course of the two-day period. Partly sunny, with a high near 55. The rain will mix with snow in the evening followed by all snow Wednesday night. The afternoon hours will be seasonably cool with highs 50-55.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain and light snow showers before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Rain is expected until around 11 p.m. and then there is a chance for snow after 4 a.m. Thursday. The morning will be cold though with morning lows flirting with freezing. Lows into early Thursday morning drop to the upper 20s, so there may be some slick roads for the morning commute. Cloudy skies and cold temperatures may come with a few showers. Once again - most of us will stay dry. Highs will be in the low 50s around lunchtime in the Denver area, with temperatures dropping into the low 40s by late afternoon.

A warm front will be positioned to the south of New England Thursday, but there is still the potential for some very mild weather. That same model now has highs into the 50s for Friday.

On the weather ahead for April, the Met Office has predicted: "Easter Sunday should be rather cool or cold with a band of cloud and light rain and hill snow across central and eastern areas".

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers.

Thursday is the hardest temperature forecast with warm air and 60s as close by as New York City.

An approaching cold front to the west will be slow to approach and move through the area. South winds will speed up the warming process through the morning and afternoon. Expect morning lows to start off in the lower 50s with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Friday should be breezy and dry with an afternoon highs around 60 degrees.
