St. Louis Police say back in 2014, Zemir Begic, a Bosnian immigrant, was in his auto when several teens began hitting his vehicle with hammers.

A man accused of fatally shooting his wife has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.

Deputy Mohave County Attorney Greg McPhillips said the victim's family wanted a bond set but agreed to her being released on her own recognizance. Her 6-year-old son, Jaydon, later died at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Members of the Bosnian community took to the streets in St. Louis to call for police help after the murder.

In exchange for his plea, the state agreed to drop a felony possession of marijuana and speeding charge against Sentner.

Moala will next appear in court on June 28.

After serving the 40-year sentence, she will be on probation for the rest of her life, according to court documents.

The CPS said she was sentenced to nine months in prison on the charge of perverting the course of justice - to run consecutively - also suspended for 24 months.
