Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane insists his side will be going all out for victory in the Madrid derby against Atletico at the Bernabeu. Los Blancos hold a 3-0 lead from the first leg in Turin and will be hot favourites to progress.

"I had a complicated start [to the season] for several reasons", Griezmann revealed in an interview on French football show Telefoot ahead of Sunday's derby against Real Madrid. "We deserved more today, clearly". "We know very well that we will have to suffer again on Wednesday".

It also left leaders Barcelona 11 points better off than second-placed Atletico at the top of the table with seven games to play.

After a season of struggles, Bale has been linked with a move back to the Premier League, most notably to Chelsea and Manchester United.

But it was Zidane's men who came desperately close to taking the lead with three minutes of the half remaining when full-back Marcelo cut inside and unleashed a right-footed shot which cannoned back off the bar with Oblak producing a fine save to keep out Dani Carvajal's equally fierce follow-up. It was the visitors' only real chance of the second half, but the in-form Frenchman did well to take it.

Real Madrid, which had won six in a row, had the most unsafe scoring chances throughout.

In his pre-match press conference, Zidane said: "I understand that he is not in a good mood, that's normal".

"It happened to us for a long time, especially when we couldn't score goals".

Asked whether his team-mates were the players happier with a point, France forward Griemzann replied: "Well, yes, but we wanted to win". He's clever and there are times when you have to rest.

"This unbeaten record has not only been achieved this season, but also a year ago under [former coach] Luis Enrique", said Barca coach Valverde.

Atletico coach Diego Simeone is not expecting the game to be any more intense despite Real wanting to close the gap on his side.

"It was an important match and after working hard on Thursday, the lads made an enormous effort and we got the draw".
