However, whether the OnePlus 6 will come with an IP67 or IP68 water and dust resistance rating hasn't been confirmed and we expect it to be unveiled at the official launch event of this new flagship from the company. But there is an additional snippet of news which might not really surprise you. OnePlus has teased its upcoming smartphone only twice in images for now.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6 will apparently flaunt a dual rear camera setup featuring a 20MP sensor and another 16MP sensor. The company is likely to continue the same trend this year with the OnePlus 6 as well. In a cheeky but not too well disguised caption OnePlus India wrote, "Don't you just hate it when you have to stop using your phone when it rains?" The base version of the OnePlus 5T is priced at Rs. 32,999. OnePlus 6 is to be released in China on 5th May. The report also adds that the OnePlus 6 will have a slightly bigger 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The display will have a notch at the top, which did not please a lot of OnePlus fans.

The device will carry a larger 3450mAh battery as compared to the outgoing OnePlus 5T, which had a cell with a capacity of 3300mAh. The half a dozen images seen in the gallery below suggest one of the two lenses of the smartphone's dual-camera setup will be a telephoto affair, with the device apparently being capable of delivering a natural bokeh effect that doesn't exclusively rely on software blurring. The phone will also allow users to shoot 4K videos. In the OnePlus 6, the Alert Slider has been repositioned to the right edge of the phone from its earlier position on the left side.
