Why not take the rather sleepy Tomas Plekanec and put him head to head with the brilliant Patrice Bergeron - and that's the recipe to bring the Maple Leafs back in the Stanley Cup playoffs. In addition, he's listed as "day-to-day'". Meanwhile, Nazem Kadri is still suspended, Leo Komarov is out, and this series feels kinda over.

The Bruins tied the score on two occasions but never led. The other three lines have been adjusted. The Leafs managed to climb back into their series against the Bruins with a win in Toronto. I don't know if there is one thing in particular. Since joining the Maple Leafs via a trade with the Montreal Canadiens, Plekanec has been quiet in the offensive end - he was acquired for his defense.

Maple Leafs Square next to the ACC is closed because of the weather. The responsibility will be on Mitch Marner to be effective tonight to take some pressure off the top line.

When it was over on Saturday night, Morgan Rielly couldn't look up, his body slumped, appearing as sad and disconsolate as he has been at any time in his National Hockey League career.

This morning, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic Boston posted the Bruins' lines from practice.

Matt Grzelcyk looks "doubtful" for this game, meaning Nick Holden will likely slide in on a third pairing with Adam McQuaid.

Holden hasn't been in the lineup since April 7th when the Bruins took on the Ottawa Senators. He tied Charlie McAvoy with the highest corsi-for percentage for Bruins defensemen with a percentage of 54.8.

A CBC/Toronto Star investigation has been chronicling scarcity and prices in the ticket industry, including the revelation that 90 per cent of the 18,201 arena seats in the Air Canada Centre are controlled by season ticket holders.

Bruins forward, David Pastrnak scored 6 points in game 2, breaking Wayne Gretzky's record for youngest player to ever do that in a playoff game. So, all-in-all this isn't a major loss for Cassidy.

Frederik Andersen made 40 saves to get the win. David Krejci, Rick Nash, Jake DeBrusk and Kevan Miller also scored - the second straight game the Bruins had five different players with goals. "You get up two in the third, you want to be able to win those games".

The Toronto Maple Leafs are facing a crisis as they return home to the Air Canada Centre. Babcock is a brilliant coach who should get the best effort out of his team. Doesn't matter what happened Saturday, the Leafs weren't winning that game with goaltending like that.

Here, in a series where Toronto has been absolutely abused by the Bruins, you'll find the Maple Leafs somewhere between even odds and a -115 favorite.

CBC News has asked both Ticketmaster and MLSE where the additional tickets for tonight's game (a 7 p.m. ET start) have come from and why the prices have dropped so dramatically from what fans were paying just a few days ago.
