Constand Denies Defense Claim She Plotted to Extort Cosby

Gianna Constand said Cosby admitted to her that he was a "sick man", and that he "felt like a dirty old perverted man".

In her testimony on Friday, Constand denied ever having intimate contact with Cosby prior to the night in January 2004 that she said he drugged and molested her, but Mesereau showed her a 2005 deposition in which she testified that she told her mother she'd occasionally been affectionate toward him. Both females worked round the right time of Constand's allegations.

Ms Jackson, who worked at Temple University at around the same time as Ms Constand, will testify that ahead of Ms Constand's allegations against Cosby in 2005, the accuser had mused to her about setting up a "high-profile person" and filing a suit.

Ms Constand told the court that she does not know Marguerite Jackson - a woman who the defence plan to call as a witness as part of their attempt to discredit her.

Gianna Constand told the jury at Cosby's suburban Philadelphia sexual-assault retrial she called him demanding to know the medication he'd given her daughter and what he'd done to her.

Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Judge Steve T. O'Neill has not yet ruled whether he would allow Jackson to testify.

The judge has ruled that Jackson can take the rack but indicated after Constand was completed invisibly he could revisit the issue. She denied understanding her.

The defense stopped its questioning.

Jackson alleges that she while working as an academic coordinator for the women's basketball team, Constand told her she could monetarily profit from accusing a celebrity of sexual assault. Bliss then asked O'Neill to strike all "the gratuitous remarks" and promptly lodged another pointed question before O'Neill cut her off.

Constand's mother followed her on the witness stand and bolstered her account, testifying about a phone conversation she said she had with the comedian about a year after the alleged assault in which he described in graphic detail their sexual account and then apologized.

Constand said that her phone calls to Cosby were about basketball and had nothing to do with romance.

Cosby, 80, has said their sex was consensual, and has pleaded not guilty to three charges of aggravated indecent assault.

Jackson's availability as a witness this time around could support the defense's want.

The defence is trying to cast Ms Constand as an unrequited lover who acted inappropriately by showing interest in the long-married Mr Cosby. She maintains she viewed Cosby as a mentor and never had a romantic interest in him. The defence said she spent late nights at the comedian's home, drove four hours to see him at a casino and called him twice on Valentine's Day, about a month after the alleged assault.

Phone records show the former director of women's basketball operations at Temple University made brief calls to Cosby around the time of a Temple home game on February 14, 2004.

Phone data reveal Constand, the former director of women's basketball operations in Temple University, manufactured brief forecasts for Cosby across the right time of a Temple residence video game on February 14, 2004, the thirty day period immediately after the alleged attack.

She testified that Cosby offered her pills and a sip of wine after she said she was "stressed" about telling the coach of her plans to leave to study massage therapy in her native Canada.

Andrea Constand faces more defense questions on Monday, and Cosby lawyer Tom Mesereau is scouring a binder full of her police statements and prior testimony for inconsistencies.

The lawyer also questioned Constand about her job at Temple and whether she had complained about the pay and tried to make additional money through other sources.

Constand explained that she may have been mistaken, that there were times Cosby told her in advance that the gate would be open and that she often reached him at another number. The defense has predicted one different accusers insignificant into this instance.

Constand is one of about 50 women who have accused Cosby of assaults dating back decades.

The District Attorney's office continued with its strategy to draw parallels between the allegations of Cosby's other accusers, who testified last week, and Constand's.
