Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane: 'Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema not feeling down'

Bale is expected to leave Real Madrid in the summer after struggling to shake off a number of persistent injuries.

Liverpool has had an impressive season till date.

But due to their Champions League date with AS Roma next week, the Reds boss might be forced to rest most of his players for the EPL game. And it is no surprise that Jurgen Klopp and his men are already looking towards the future.

It has been reported that Madrid president Florentino Perez wants a minimum of €80 million (£69.2m) as transfer fee for Bale.

However, the 21-year-old has failed to nail down a spot in the first team and he is ready to move on.

And considering Can's contract which expires at the end of the season, Liverpool will be eager to sign the Spaniard.

Now Spanish outlet Don Balon suggests Perez has given the green light for a deal for Can to be struck.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, was able to escape a Juventus comeback in the second leg of the tie, reserving a place for themselves in the semi-finals.

The former Madrid midfielder could yet lead his side to Champions League glory for the third season in a row, although the La Liga title they won last term looks certain to go to rivals Barcelona this year.

The 28-year-old is tipped to face the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu exit door this summer, with Zinedine Zidane seemingly losing faith in the Welshman and willing to offer him up to fellow European giants if he can gain something in return.

However, they are back in action this weekend as they travel to West Brom in the Premier League's early kick-off (12:30pm).
