SportsWWE Greatest Royal Rumble – Match Card and Predictions By Sean Farlow- Apr 21 2018

WWE COO Paul Levesque, known to most fans as Triple H, spoke about the controversy of the exclusion of female wrestlers at the upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble being held at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Greatest Royal Rumble event will also air live in the Middle East on MBC Action, KSA Sports 1 and Dawri Plus.

A very traditional country, Saudi Arabia is considered the birthplace of Islam where Sunni Islam is the official state religion.

General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia Chairman, His Excellency Turki Al Sheikh, WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, invite the world to celebrate this signature event. In addition, only women who are accompanied by men will be allowed to attend the event. Big names like WWE newcomer Ronda Rousey will be absent.

"I understand that people are questioning it, but you have to understand that every culture is different and just because you don't agree with a certain aspect of it, it doesn't mean it's not a relevant culture". Some have said it is hypocritical for WWE to have a show there and still claim to promote a "women's revolution". The Game addressed criticism regarding women not wrestling at the event, and said that he believes that they will be in a few years.

On a related note, we are told that there will be at least one title change (aside from the Raw Tag Team Title tournament final) on the show. "There are a lot of tremendously talented athletes here pouring their heart and soul out here to become WWE superstars", Triple H told Al Arabiya.

The WWE recently hosted its first match with women competing in Abu Dhabi.

"The audience were chanting "This is Hope" - that is cultural change".
