Big viewership drop for the post-Backlash episode of WWE Raw

Other matches on WWE Raw this week saw Braun Strowman defeat Kevin Owens to advance to Money in the Bank, and Seth Rollins defended the IC Title against Mojo Rawley.

This was the post-show for the Backlash PPV.

Raw's rating hit its lowest non-holiday ratings and vierwership points since the December 11th episode brought in a 0.84 rating and 2.685 million viewers.

Three of Team Red's elite Superstars vie to enter the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match in an edge-of-your-seat red brand main event.

The show also saw Ember Moon qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Hour two drew 2.731 million viewers.

The show averaged 2.68 million viewers. It was also a big night in sports with National Basketball Association and NHL playoff games airing as competition for Raw. The last time WWE had viewership worse than this week's, was on the 11th of December previous year, which had 2.684 million viewers. WWE nearly always has one million viewers in the 18 to 49 year old demographic but this week none of the hours had that many in that category. Poor numbers for a mediocre show that followed a lousy pay-per-view.

The show's fall in viewership could be because of any one of a number of reasons.
