Microsoft also introduced some changes to "Sets" by bringing acrylic title bar, adjusting the window border to grey colour, introducing if users want to open new apps and websites in a new tab or new window and even adding recent Microsoft Edge tabs in the Alt + Tab mode. Microsoft has been working on improving the performance of the operating system until the release of Windows 10 April 2018 Update.

Microsoft shipped the new features as part of Insider Preview Build 17666, which is rolling out for the Fast Ring of Windows 10 Insider machines today. The new cloud-based Clipboard is viewable with the shortcut keys WIN + V and can be accessed across any PC with this build of Windows or higher.

The update includes patches for two flaws that are already being exploited in the wild, one of which was being used by an advanced persistent threat (APT) attack group to target Windows users through Internet Explorer (IE).

Next up, we have a new feature z-depth that would make the apps feel like having more depth in certain cases. But within Sets' tabbed UI, everything-a webpage, an app, a document-gets its own tab. When a user presses this, Windows presents the user with its "brand-new clipboard experience".

Aside from one time copy and paste operations, you can explore this new cloud clipboard to pin things you seem to always use and see your history in a similar way to Windows 10 Timeline.

Microsoft at its Build 2018 announced support of extended line endings for Notepad, this support has now been added with Notepad now supporting Unix/Linux line endings and Macintosh line ending. Those who don't require synchronization can turn it off, and if you don't require the storing of multiple items, then you can disable the feature as well. The most pressing of these-CVE-2018-8174-is a vulnerability in the VBScript engine, which can be exploited with relative ease in a Microsoft Office document that uses an ActiveX control, as well as Internet Explorer (IE) and any other software using the Trident rendering engine.

You may have noticed that the Cortana search box allows you to search for apps as well as documents.

The Win32K vulnerability, which affects older OSes such as Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008, enables attackers to run arbitrary code in kernel mode.

He added, "While the vulnerabilities are rated as exploitation less likely, it may be time to deploy Hyper-V updates as it has been getting more updates".

Additionally, Microsoft now lets you give folders you create in the Start menu a name.
