Following the Game 5 victory, a clearly frustrated Joel Embiid walked off the court without shaking any hands and that reportedly upset a bunch of players on the Celtics.

Embiid averaged 23.0 points a night over the five-game series, including 27 on Wednesday.

"We definitely have more to show".

Saric nailed big shot after big shot in this one - he canned momentum-swinging threes, got tough buckets in the post against Celtics guards, and got free on some timely cuts.

With 10 seconds left, Baynes stopped Embiid scoring a potential game-winner with rugged defence. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Embiid has struggled mightily in that regard this season as he missed all eight shots that could have been game-tying or go-ahead field goals.

This provided the 76ers with a chance to win with a desperation 3-pointer.

"Coming into this building and arena the fans are fantastic here", Simmons said. "But there is very much a disappointment and an emptiness when someone stops something that you really like doing and stops something with guys you like doing it with".

Boston, which advances to the Eastern Conference finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, has young players such as Brown and Jayson Tatum to go along with Irving and Hayward.

Like Boston, Philadelphia has drawn attention with its postseason run. They will be picking 26th, 38th, 39th, 56th and 60th - and will likely have a lottery pick, as well. The ratings scale is 1-5 stars.

So the Sixers should have plenty of opportunities to improve in the next few offseasons.

In addition to a young core that includes Embiid, Simmons, Dario Saric, and Markelle Fultz, who missed most of this season due to injury, the Sixers could have up to six picks in the 2018 National Basketball Association draft, including a lottery selection. He went 0-for-8 in such situations over the course of the season, the most without a field goal of any player in the National Basketball Association.
