CM Shehbaz gearing up for another milestone

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has tacitly admitted that Pakistan played a role in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Sharif, though, did not name the 26/11 mastermind, Hafiz Saeed, and Maulana Masood Azhar's Jamaat-ud-Dawah and Jaish-e-Mohammad that operate in Pakistan with impunity.

The Mumbai case is being tried in an anti-terrorism court since 2009 but the case isn't going anywhere. Thereafter he admitted openly that it was Pakistan which started terrorism in Kashmir. He has also questioned the trial of stabbing in Pakistan's attack.

"You can't run a country if you have two or three parallel governments".

"Our narrative is not being accepted". The story of Afghanistan was accepted, but not ours. India has provided substantial proof to Pakistan of its homegrown terrorist group Lakshar-e- Toiba of having orchestrated the mayhem - with the help of its intelligence agency, the ISI - in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, which left 166 people dead.

Yousaf Raza Gillani was Pakistan PM in 2008, when the Mumbai attacks took place.

The case of Mumbai attacks is still on in the court since 2009 and the final judgement seems to take its own time, except for Kasab who was found guilty of the attacks. Sharif asked, referring to the masterminds of the Mumbai massacre that nearly brought India and Pakistan to war.

He said, the USA has accused Pakistan of giving nothing except lies and deceits and providing safe heaven to terrorists. "Why can't we complete the trial?" said Sharif in an interview to the Dawn newspaper on Saturday. It must stop. There can be only one government, which has been elected through the constitutional process.

Six heavily armed terrorists from Pakistan attacked the Pathankot Air Force station in the early hours of January 2, 2016. One of them was caught and hanged.
