Bethesda Officially Announce Rage 2, Gameplay Reveal Tomorrow

Now, this begs the question: are all the rest of the games from the Walmart leak real too?

Bethesda did promise that we will get a worldwide gameplay reveal tomorrow at the end of the trailer, so we'll update the article once that drops.

Today Bethesda officially revealed Rage 2 with a trailer which had already leaked a few hours prior.

Instead of denying the recent leaks, Bethesda made a decision to officially announce that Rage is getting a sequel, and it also posted a teaser video reminiscent of Mad Max. Now it's May 14 and Bethesda confirmed RAGE 2 with an announcement trailer.

When checking out the official Rage 2 website, the English version of the site doesn't share much info regarding who is developing the project, though when changing the language of the website, those details appear.

There is no in-game footage, but according to Bethesda, tomorrow at 7am PST/3pm BST, there will be.

It's been a long time since the release of the original Rage and there have been a lot of advancements in gameplay that we would love to see the sequel take advantage of. Hopefully Rage 2 will see the franchise finally realize its full potential.

While it's abundantly clear that Rage 2 is in fact a thing (unless Bethesda is trolling fans for no reason), it's still somewhat surprising. It was a visually stunning game and very graphically impressive, particularly for its time. If this holds some truth to it, it looks like Rage 2 is in great hands with the Just Cause and Mad Max developers. Furthermore, Bethesda has many games in store for us during the upcoming E3 2018 event. Even if we ignored Mad Max, this team is well-versed in the style of gameplay Rage is aiming for.

On foot, the game is plays as a first-person shooter.

Unfortunately, no release date was mentioned in the reveal trailer.
