While 92-year-old Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her actual birthday on April 21, the Trooping of the Colour ceremony takes place on any Saturday of June.

Meanwhile, the wife of Prince William, Kate Middleton has always worn sleeves that went past her elbows ever since she first attended a Trooping back in 2011.

Meghan wore a simple peach dress by Carolina Herrera, but its off-the-shoulder style was a bit too cocktail-y for such an important military event in which shoulders are usually covered. In attendance included Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as the newlyweds, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Next week, reports People, Meghan will join the Queen for their first solo outing together when they'll travel overnight on the Royal Train for a day-long engagement in Cheshire.

Dazzling crowds with beaming smiles, they made their way to Whitehall's Horse Guards Parade for the ceremony to mark the Queen's 92nd birthday.

Meghan, the new Duchess of Sussex, who has been welcomed into the Royal Family with open arms, has a busy week of appearances ahead.

Prince George stole the show at Trooping the Colour on Saturday afternoon, but his baby brother appeared to be missing in action.

From the vantage point of the Duke of Wellington's old office, which overlooks Horse Guards Parade, Camilla, Harry, Meghan and Kate and the other members of the Royal Family watched the finale of the event. Charlotte matched with the Duchess in a pretty blue frock, while George wore the sweet Daniel shirt by British childrenswear brand Amaia, which also features blue detailing in its piping.

The couple postponed their honeymoon by several days to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace in honor of Prince Charles three days after their spectacular wedding last month.
