NBA Finals Game 4 Live Golden State Warriors lead Cleveland Cavaliers 3-0

NBA Finals Game 4 Live Golden State Warriors lead Cleveland Cavaliers 3-0

Regardless of what appeared to be an uninspired Cleveland effort in Game 4, the Warriors were magnificent.

Curry said after the win that the team used its experience in Game 4 against the Cavaliers previous year - also down 3-0 to the Warriors, they won by 19 to force one more game - to prepare, knowing they'd face a focused opponent.

"They're going to come out just gunslinging".

Golden State outscored Cleveland 25-13 in the third quarter, James managing only four points, and the Warriors rolled through the final minutes.

"We've been in a position where we could win two out of these three games", said James, who had 33 points and his 10th Finals triple-double in Game 3. With the Finals MVP award up for grabs, I expect Curry to bounce back from his rough shooting night in Game 3 and lead the Warriors to an easy win to cap off the season.

Coach Steve Kerr described the triumph as "the hardest so far" but his Warriors side routed the Cavs 108-84 to prevail in the fourth consecutive finals meeting between the teams.

If the Cavaliers can keep the series going with a win Friday, the series will return to Oracle on Monday for a 6 p.m. start in Game 5.

So, assuming that this series is over, what does this mean for the future of LeBron James?

The three-time champion, though, was being open and honest about the Cavs' chances to become the first team to overcome a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs.

Klay Thompson, who did not score in the first half, scored 10 points to lead Golden State to an 86-65 lead after three quarters. He has stated multiple times he will re-sign with the Warriors this summer. James' free agent plans are more complicated.

The Warriors blocked 13 shots in the game, with Curry and Durant joining Green with three apiece. He arrived at his postgame news conference with a large black brace on his right hand and explained the injury was "self-inflicted" following an overtime loss in Game 1, which included a reversed official's call and teammate J.R. Smith dribbling out the clock to end regulation. "I just appreciate what he's done for us this season".

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said his team has not given up on itself.

Are NBA fans now in line for "The Decision 2", a follow-up to the now infamous media tour James and his entourage staged prior to him leaving Cleveland for Miami in 2010?

The Golden State Warriors beat the Cavs 4-0 in the best-of-seven championship series, but it was after the opening over-time loss in California when James injured himself. "We've got to go out there and give everything we've got". "They made some mini-runs, but over the course of 48 minutes our will took over".

"I came back because I felt like I had some unfinished business", LeBron said.

He ripped out the hearts of Oklahoma City Thunder fans when he left for the Oakland-based Warriors, which many considered the easiest route to an National Basketball Association title. The one thing that we do know for sure is that James deserves nothing but respect this time around.
