Yes, "app limits" are just what they sound like - iOS 12 will let you set an amount of time to use different apps, and the feature's notification will prod you, warning you that your time is almost up when you've nearly run out of minutes.

However, you won't see the official release of these features until the Autumn, when Apple will make iOS 12, macOS Mojave, watchOS 5 and tvOS 12 available to download via your devices.

If you rely on your iPhone or iPad to get you through the day, and you're having a great experience, you'll probably want to stay put on iOS 11.4 or your current version of iOS. You'll then receive a reminder to stop using the app. This is all done with the objective of developing Apple's AI and getting more people to use Siri for complex tasks.

Earlier this year, two large Apple shareholders asked the company to do more to help parents prevent their children from becoming addicted to digital devices, NPR reported.

Apple doesn't have multiple-logins on any of its devices.

There will be some updates to other features as well. Parents and children could have their own logins which would make parental controls much easier to manage.

Memoji is being introduced as a counter to a similar feature that Samsung launched with the Galaxy S9 this year.

There are plenty of new features in iOS 12 but for this poll, I am only going to highlight some of the major ones. Even better, the group video call feature in FaceTime supports up to 32 parties in a very intuitive UI.

It'll also show relevant news headlines under the stock, which users can click on to see the full article. But the fact you need to move your phone somewhere else to listen to what someone is saying might not be the best solution.

Four new Animoji are coming to the fray: Ghost, Koala, Tiger and T-Rex. You don't want that to happen your one and only £1,000 iPhone. Everything from improvements in performance and grouped notifications to new animojis and group face time. It is pretty cool.

Valve has not responded to the new guidelines yet, but we imagine that the iOS Steam Link app will be released soon enough.
