CD Projekt Red, creators of the Witcher franchise, has quietly been working on a game called Cyberpunk 77 for some years now.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be a narrative-driven, open-world RPG set in a vibrant and risky metropolis in the future called Night City. The world is filled with cyber-enhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners, and corporate life-hackers. Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with no current release date as of now.

Can you believe that it's been 5 years since gamers first saw the teaser trailer featuring a unsafe cybernetic woman? Cyberpunk 2077 looks to set to deliver a setting true to its name; an urban science-fiction dystopia where technological tropes run wild.

"When we told you we would only release the game when it's ready, we meant it". First announced in 2013, Cyberpunk has been a complete secret.

Projekt CD RED garnered the favor of gamers and critics worldwide with their 2014 hit The Witcher 3, so we can expect mature themes, a vast game world with hundreds of hours of gameplay. Even then, all we got was a note from the developer that they were hacked and not much else. We have always known that the game was going to be phenomenal and it took a whole console generation for us to see the graphics that they have reached right now. For the first time in five years we got our best look yet at Night City. We know that. But ads help us pay the bills. As other users there have noted, this likely means that Cyberpunk's V will be like Commander Shepard from Mass Effect: a character in the story whom you can nonetheless change the appearance of.
