Trump says he will announce his Supreme Court pick on July 9

"They're all saying, don't do that, you don't do that, you shouldn't do that".

Headlines this week were dominated by news that Justice Anthony Kennedy, a swing vote on the Supreme Court, will retire next month and that a man has been charged with killing five people at the Capital Gazette newsroom in Annapolis.

"Outside of war and peace, of course, the most important decision you make is the selection of a Supreme Court judge, if you get it", Trump said.

In addition to talking about the Supreme Court, Mr. Trump also told reporters that he planned to discuss a variety of topics - including Syria, Ukraine and elections - with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russian Federation during their inaugural summit meeting next month in Helsinki, Finland. As the Post reports, Trump "also wants to see a portfolio of solid academic writing, though this adviser acknowledged Trump does not care to read it; he simply wants to know it exists".

In an interview airing on NBC's "Meet the Press", Graham said that the 1973 decision has been reaffirmed "in many different ways" in subsequent rulings, and that the precedent should be respected.

Democrats have begun to mobilize their supporters around the abortion issue while Republicans have begun to to downplay the significance of replacing Kennedy. I have been really impressed with how he conducted this process. "That means you don't overturn precedent unless there's a good reason".

The 81-year-old justice was appointed in 1988 by then-president Ronald Reagan. He also mentioned that he will be interviewed by Maria Bartiromo on Sunday at 10 AM on Fox News.

"I hope they keep thinking about it because they're going to get beaten so badly". On Friday, he told reporters that short list had been further pared down to five candidates.
