Meghan wore a black Dior dress with a boatneck neckline and a matching Stephen Jones fascinator.

Harry and Meghan were among the 17 royals who flanked the queen on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony, but the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in a prime spot right next to the queen with father-in-law Prince Charles and his wife Duchess Camilla of Cornwall on the other side.

Kate was also joined by husband Prince William, who looked smart in a crisp suit.

Lastly, the members of the Royal Family watched a presentation of the RAF 100 Relay, which had been carried throughout the United Kingdom for the last 100 days.

Anyone meeting Meghan Markle for the first time might easily be star-struck - a well-known actress turned duchess isn't someone you come across very often.

The Duchess kept up her signature nude lip look as well.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at the Abbey together with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, with the Princes in their uniforms and Kate Middleton again sporting Alexander McQueen. Later, Meghan and Harry will head to Dublin to begin their two-day whirlwind trip of Ireland.

Kate also stepped out in her go-to designer on Monday for Prince Louis's Christening.

Kate has attended a handful of events tied in with the RAF Cadets.

The family has a long-standing commitment to the Royal Air Force with four generations of the family having served or trained with the United Kingdom's aerial warfare force, and many holding honorary ranks and patronages with RAF charities and associations.

Led by the Queen, the royals were attending a service to mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force.
