And much like the PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition, I think you know what happened to most of those. This fetching finish allows you to see the PS4 Pro's (and controller's) innards, and there's even a plaque on the front of the device emblazoned with its serial number.

The PlayStation 4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition is due to release on August 24 and will be available for £449.99 ($499.99) - other pricing TBC.

Comes with 2TB hard drive, each unit of the PlayStation 4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition console comes with a serial number as only 50,000 units will be released throughout the world.

You can also get your paws on a commemorative Gold Wireless Headset 500 Million Limited Edition separately.

Price-wise, the PlayStation 4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition can be obtained for RM 2,149 in Malaysia starting from 24 August onwards.

The Limited Edition 500 Million PS4 pro will be available on retailer websites on August 24, 2018, for $499.99 United States dollars / $639.99 CAD, with the DualShock 4 and Gold Wireless Headset becoming available in early September. Like the console, these two accessories will be a dark, translucent blue with copper accents. The company announced it to celebrate 500 million sales of PlayStation consoles since the brand's inception in 1994.

For starters, the 500 Million Limited Edition features a translucent design in a catching dark blue paint job with matching DualShock 4 controller. As with the Gold Wireless Headset, it will be sold in limited quantities in early September 2018. These links leave Siliconera.
