Eric Trump says Bob Woodward wrote book to make "shekels"

Bob Woodward's new book

Bob Woodward's new book"Fear Trump in the White House" was in hot demand in bookstores in the Berkshires and elsewhere Tuesday. It quickly jumped to No. 1 on the Amazon best-seller list

Eric Trump spoke out about Woodward's anti-Trump book and said, "Don't you think people look through the fact that you can write a sensational, nonsense book, CNN will definitely have you on there because they love to trash the president". Wednesday morning the president's son charged the author of "Fear" - the latest bombshell book exposing the Trump administration as inept and corrupt - with writing it "to make 3 extra shekels".

Journalist Bob Woodward is standing by his reporting so ardently that he's willing to share the source material for any person in his new book, Fear: Trump in the White House, as long as the individual says he can. But to me the standout message from the book - the reason it is still worth reading, even after Michael Wolff's romping page-turner Fire and Fury - is that the president is a bit clueless, a bit vain, a bit risky even; but his people are utterly at sea. Porter, who exited the White House after allegations of domestic violence became public, says he was tasked with ensuring that "pros and cons were evaluated" on policy proposals and other decisions.

"Time and time again people will deny things", he continued. "Are we clear?" That is what Woodward alleged Mattis said.

"We're doing this in order to prevent World War III", Mattis answered.

The statement was refuted by Mattis and he issued a statement last week condemning the book.

On Wednesday, reviews on Amazon for the just-released Woodward book Fear became intermingled, somehow, with reviews for an L. Ron Hubbard novella by the same name. "I used hundreds of sources, but not all of the information was available". If I did I would not have been elected President. In this book, Woodward has drafted the letter. "It's pointless to try to convince him of anything". We're in Crazytown. I don't even know why any of us are here. Speaking with his former attorney John Dowd, Trump reportedly said: "Dowd, remember who I'm talking to".

Kelly refuted the excerpt.

Eric followed his father's lead in his appearance on "Fox and Friends" and dismissed the allegations in Woodward's book while claiming he wrote it to make "three extra shekels".
