‘America’s Got Talent’ Finalist Michael Ketterer Arrested For Domestic Violence

Singer and "America's Got Talent" star, Michael Ketterer, was arrested for domestic violence on Thursday following his finale performance on the reality series the day before. When the police arrived on the scene, Ketterer's wife had a "visible red mark" on her body, according to law enforcement sources.

Ketterer admitted to the website that he and his wife argued in their hotel room and that the police had been summoned, but Ivey Ketterer refused to press charges.

The paediatric mental health nurse from Knoxville, Tennessee, claims the arrest was a big "misunderstanding". They took Ketterer into custody at once. Ketterer says they arrested him anyway, telling him the law's the law.

The case will be referred to the Los Angeles City Attorney's office.

Ketterer sailed through to the live semi-finals of this year's America's Got Talent after landing Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer.

TMZ have also obtained a video of the arrest, however, they report the charge will be changed to a misdemeanor because the injury is considered "minor".

The arrest comes just days after the two-day AGT finale, where Ketterer placed 5th overall. "Simon loved him. I doubt he will be signing him now", another user wrote.
