Bills and Josh Allen are stunning the Vikings

Allen continued to show athleticism and growing confidence you look for in a seventh overall pick making his first National Football League road start in a very loud stadium. The Vikings were supposed to be up 27-0 at halftime, not trailing by that margin.

Allen has been fearless, and a run with around two minutes to go in the opening quarter showed it better than anything so far in Sunday's game. Allen competed 15 of 22 passes fr 196 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions while Cousins completed 40 of 55 passes for 296 yards with a touchdown and interception. Cousins had 44 yards passing in the first half and had been sacked three times; Allen, the seventh pick in last spring's draft, had thrown for 172 yards and a touchdown by that point. The ball was bobbled by running back Latavius Murray and linebacker Matt Milano picked it off while on his back.

The 0-2 Bills are off to a rough start in 2018, and are expected to be in tough against the undefeated Vikings.

Vikings: In addition to Cook and DE Everson Griffen (knee), backup TE David Morgan (knee) and PR Marcus Sherels (ribs) were held out. Third-year man Stephen Weatherly made his first start in place of Griffen and had his first career sack.

The Vikings don't have much time to recover from Sunday's debacle.

Instead, the Vikings will arrive in Los Angeles with a 1-1-1 record and serious questions about just how good they are or what direction they are headed.

The Vikings inducted the late Dennis Green, who's second behind Bud Grant in winning percentage as a head coach, into their Ring of Honor.
