The first lady also took the opportunity to express her frustration about being snubbed by foundations she'd like to work with because of opposition to the Trump White House.

During her visit to Kenya, Trump made time for an exclusive sit-down interview with ABC News' Tom Llamas, who wasted no time in pinning down her views.

"I support the women and they need to be heard", Melania Trump told ABC's "Good Morning America" in a snippet of an interview aired Wednesday.

In her upcoming interview with Tom Llamas of ABC, Melania Trump endorsed the #MeToo movement insofar as the accusers can produce "hard evidence" to support their claims.

Trump also said she supports women, but she echoed her husband, President Donald Trump, adding that men need to be supported, too. "I support the women and they need to be heard".
