Responding to questions from MyBroadband, Samsung South Africa confirmed that the Galaxy A9 would be available locally in December 2018 for a recommended retail price of R11,999.

"With the long-lasting battery in the Galaxy Book 2, you can work uninterrupted for up to 20 hour - more than two full work days", Samsung swoons in its announcement. The Galaxy Book 2 has been priced at $1000 (approx Rs 73,500) and will be available in stores in the USA later this month. However, another major point for this 2-in-1 tablet is that the essential stylus and keyboard cover accessories come in the box.

Samsung has also included a number of flagship features in its Galaxy A9 device, such as its Infinity Display, Bixby assistant, and support for Samsung Pay. According to Samsung, the Galaxy A7 is meant to make everyday convenient and extraordinary. We can expect a similar price tag in pounds sterling on this side of the Atlantic.

Again, we'll have to wait for United Kingdom information but in the U.S. you can buy the device online at AT&T, Microsoft and Samsung from the above release date.

Samsung has announced a new version of its Galaxy Book 2-in-1 PC and it features the new octocore Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 mobile PC processor rather than one of Intel's chips.

It's possible that the chip isn't as powerful compared to the Core i5 we tested in the original Galaxy Book - we'll benchmark it when we get a review sample - but it has other benefits. Wireless connectivity options include Gigabit LTE via the Snapdragon X20 LTE modem and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band Wi-Fi. Its predecessor had an optional LTE model. At up to 20 hours, it's nearly double the first Galaxy Book. There doesn't appear to be a model with 8/256GB this time. Samsung is also shipping the device with a keyboard and S Pen in the box.
