LaMelo Ball left high school a year ago to join his brother LiAngelo in Lithuania on a pro team and then later in his father LaVar's Junior Basketball Association.

Ball previous year was the seventh-ranked recruit in the Class of 2019, according to Slam Magazine's Franklyn Calle.

LaMelo is expected to play on November 13 against La Lumiere (Ind.), according to SLAM Online. "I thank my dad for the JBA Experience and playing overseas".

Ball will be joining Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, a prep school, per SLAM, that will face off against some of the top prep schools in the country this season, giving Ball a chance to show scouts his skills against the best prospects in the country. When LiAngelo Ball was arrested for shoplifting in China, LaVar opted to have both sons take the overseas route in Lithuania - with mixed results. "I can't wait to play with my peers". It will allow him to play those in his own age group while he works toward the 2020 National Basketball Association draft. In his last JBA International Tour game against the London Lions, the now 6-7 point guard posted a 41-point triple-double (17 assists and 13 rebounds).

"In my opinion, LaMelo Ball can be the No. 1 pick in a year or two going to the Cleveland Cavaliers", Jermaine Jackson tells TMZ Sports. He averaged 40.0 points, 13.8 rebounds, 11.0 assists and 3.6 steals per game during the inaugural domestic JBA season last summer. Expect it all to return this season to a social media feed near you.
