BREAKING: Antifa Group Shows Up At Tucker Carlson's House, Tells Him He's 'Not Safe' (VIDEO)

The Fox News host wasn't home and neither were any of his four children.

"We will fight! We know where you sleep at night!".

The protesters were doubling down and defending their protest after the ensuing backlash.

The Smash Racism DC account was later suspended, although it hadn't been after the Cruz incident, which some said clearly violated Twitter's terms of service.

"The DC reported the group wrote on Twitter: "Tucker Carlson, you can not hide from the people you hurt with your rhetoric, your lies, and your hate", with the hashtag '#KnockKnockTucker'".

Carlson himself said it was more appropriate to describe their actions as a "threat" rather than protests. It was a threat.

"I never thought twice about leaving them home alone, but this is the reaction because this group doesn't like my TV show". Where Nazis are always wondering: "'Is 2day the day they come 4 me?'" They weren't protesting a policy or advocating for legislation.

Carlson said that the aftermath of the controversy had actually been "very nice and affirming" and reminded him of how decent Americans were as people.

"I think Tucker is a awful influence on modern America but that doesn't justify harassing him at home". We as a nation have become far too intolerant of different points of view.

NBC on-air personality Megyn Kelly, formerly a leading Fox News personality, tweeted: "This has to stop".

Matt Yglesias, co-founder of Vox.com, tweeted in support of Smash Racism DC, an Antifa group whose members swarmed Carlson's front yard and carried signs with his home address written on them in retaliation for Carlson's supposed role in "spreading fear". "@TuckerCarlson is tough & can handle a lot, but he does not deserve this". "Go high, not low", CNN commentator Max Boot tweeted.

"Get a permit for a protest outside Carlson's office if you want", Stelter wrote.

He added that he also doesnt know what hes going to do about checking the mail. "There is now an open criminal investigation regarding this matter", the statement said.

This reprehensible and cowardly act has not only launched a police investigation in the D.C. area in which Carlson and his family reside but has also spawned a universal and bipartisan outcry of condemnation from media figures from across the political spectrum.

"I dont think I should be threatened in our house", he said.
