We don't have details or photos, but it's our understanding that the structures have all burned.

A fast-moving wildfire in Southern California has scorched a historic movie site recently used by the HBO series "Westworld" and forced numerous celebrities to join the thousands fleeing flames that have claimed homes and prompted the total evacuation of the celebrity enclave Malibu.

The historic Western town area at Paramount Ranch where many productions were filmed has been destroyed by wildfires in Northern California. According to the Los Angeles Public Library's website, the decades-old movie set is the only "working movie western town in the National Parks System". Those sets can be found at the show's home base at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita and have not been impacted by the fire.

'We are sorry to share the news that the #WoolseyFire has burned Western Town at #ParamountRanch in Agoura, ' the official Twitter account for the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area tweeted Friday. It's unclear whether Westworld was planning to shoot at Paramount Ranch for season three, as the season two finale took the show in a much different direction.

HBO used Paramount Ranch as one of the filming locations for seasons one and two of Westworld, along with Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita, Fox5 San Diego reported. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the network said, "Westworld is not now in production, and as the area has been evacuated, we do not yet know the extent of the damage to any structures remaining there". Among the films that shot at the ranch were "Caught in the Draft" with Bob Hope, "The Lake House" with Sandra Bullock, and TV shows including "The Mentalist", "Weeds" and "Quickdraw". From 1992 to 1997, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was filmed at the location.

Unfortunately, as a result of the Woolsey fire, the set has burned down at Paramount Ranch. Most importantly, our thoughts go out to all those affected by these terrible fires.

The Malibu, Calabasas, and Agoura areas are all being evacuated due to the Woolsey fire.
